Terms of service

What TenancyPack does, and what stays with you

Written to be read once and understood. If something here is unclear, reply to any TenancyPack email and ask.

What the service does

TenancyPack generates documents from the information you enter, attaches the official Renters’ Rights Act Information Sheet where relevant, sends them by email on your instruction, and records each service in a hash-chained proof log. It covers tenancies in England only.

This is not legal advice and not a substitute for a solicitor.

What stays with you

  • The accuracy of what you enter. TenancyPack fills forms; it does not verify that a rent figure, a date or a deposit reference is correct.
  • The decision to serve. You remain responsible for what you serve, on whom, and when — including whether a tenant has agreed in writing to be served by email.
  • Judgement calls about your own tenancies. Where the right answer depends on facts we cannot see, take advice.

Payment

Your first property is free. Beyond that, subscriptions are £15 a month or £119 a year, billed through Stripe. Stripe handles the card details; TenancyPack never sees them.

You can cancel at any time from your billing page, with no notice period. Cancelling stops future charges; it does not refund the period already paid for.

If your plan lapses

Lapsing never deletes your data or your proof log. Everything stays intact and readable. What pauses is new sends and new properties beyond the free allowance — a record of service is evidence, and evidence should not disappear because a card expired.

Availability and limits

We aim to keep TenancyPack available and correct, and we fix what breaks. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and our liability is limited to the fees you have paid in the twelve months before a claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

If the official Information Sheet is updated and we have not yet pinned the new version, sending pauses rather than shipping a stale document. That pause is deliberate.

Who you are contracting with

TenancyPack is operated by Jadthena Limited. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
